Muslim Marriage Registry

Marriage Registry is a marriage document. There is a law in our country to register marriage. This is the marriage registration law. I.e. the registration of marriage related vital information in the official register is the registration of marriage. Marriage registration copy is the marriage certificate. This Act was effective in 1974. It is to be noted that there is no provision for registration of Hindu marriages.

Why marriage registration is needed?

    No one can deny the truth of marriage;

    Wife can take legal action against her husband if she re-married without the permission of the wife;

    Wife can be supplied from her husband;

    The wife can take the name mentioned in the name of nikah; In the case where the dower is not specified, the wife can earn the right amount of dower;

    If the husband or wife dies, the survivors of both of them will be able to get a legitimate share from the property of the deceased.

Example: Ayesha and Gafur are married to Dhumdham. But behind all the festivities, the question of registration is forgotten. After some days of marriage, Ayesha and Gafur got divorced, and Gafur refused to pay Ausha and donated her. If marriage was registered, Ayesha could easily go to court and pay darmohar and support, but in such a situation, it is very difficult to pay darmohar and support.

Marriage Registry Fee

The Registry fee is determined based on the amount of the money. Now the registration fee is ten per thousand,

Minimum 50 rupees,

Maximum 4000 taka

(But the government has changed registration fees from time to time). Apart from this, the registration fee for each marriage registration will be available for Tk 25 per person and if he registers at the wedding ceremony, you will get Tk 1.00 (one) per mile for the travel allowance. The groom's party usually provides registration fees. If the registration fee is submitted, you will receive a receipt for the Nikah registrar. The registration paper should be kept between husband and wife. Otherwise, the woman will not be able to ask the court for help if she is in trouble.

Offense

Although the marriage of Kazi's absence is not known to the office of the Kazi office, it is legally a criminal offense. The person who has completed the marriage will submit the report to the Nikah registrar.

Punishment

Unfair registration is a punishable offense. In the Muslim Marriage and Divorce (Registration) Act of 1974 (Amended March 8, 2005) it has been said that the marriage which was not executed by the Nikah Registrar, or those who have done it, will be given to the Registrar to the news of that marriage, for the purpose of registration. If anyone does not follow this rule, he will be sentenced to two years imprisonment or Tk. 3,000 (three thousand) or both.

Suggestions

In each union there is one Qazi appointed by the government. He will register the marriage. If it is not possible to register on the day of marriage, then marriage registration will be done within 30 days from the date of the wedding and at the marriage register office. The receipt will be collected by the Qazi who receives the registration during marriage registration. Because the receipt of this cancellation when the Kabini Namah is shown, there is no additional fees for the Qazi than the prescribed fee.
